Genie and the Lamp

Rising out of a curl of smoke from a curved magic oil lamp, this cheerful genie crosses his arms, grins, and waits to grant a wish. Instead of legs he has a swirling smoky tail, and he wears a small vest and a turban topped with a jewel, while the lamp sits on the ground below him. The smoky tail and curling lamp spout are full of fun flowing lines, the big body and vest give younger colorers easy areas to fill, and the jewel and lamp details reward careful hands. Genie stories come from old Middle Eastern folk tales like the Arabian Nights, where a genie freed from a lamp would grant wishes to whoever found it.
